Carlos at Elite Home Inspections recently performed an inspection of a property I’m interested in. I was very satisfied with his work. The house has a large addition and he spent most of the day inspecting. He arrived at the agreed upon time and went right to work. He inspected 279 items including the exterior of the building and a detached garage, roofs, rain gutters, driveway and walkways, porches, fireplaces, chimneys, attics, crawlspaces, all interior rooms, windows, doors, HVAC, all appliances, and all accessible plumbing and electrical items including sinks, toilets, tub/showers, faucets, drains, electrical outlets, switches, and lights. His report, complete with pictures and comments denoting acceptable, marginal, or defective items, was available online the next day. A nicely formatted PDF file was available for download. While many of the issues with the house were expected, a number were previously unknown to me, including some important safety issues. The report provides a handy checklist for repairs. I would have no problem in recommending his service to others.
